  Notes from Kristen Troy (descendant of Martha Clark): It's Sally who's the heartbreaker. From what I gathered, she left home to work in Keene, NH, around 1946. A short while later she returned home and married Charles Berry, 38 years her senior. In Oct of 1954 she's "revived by emergency rescue" after being "overcome by gas fumes" from the stove. I might have thought it was an accident if not for the manner of her death.At the time of her husband's death, in 1957, his obituary calls Bobby, her eldest, his stepson and claims the younger as his biological son. Mildred was appointed administratrix of Sally's estate. It appears that she raised Bobby and Danny.
